The Atlas

Atlas#

The Atlas is your most valuable tool: registers all discovered and undiscovered Islands, and their gatherables and fauna. It’s like an encyclopedia for Explorers!

After you’ve completed your first steps, the Explorer’s Guild Mentor will task you to obtain an Atlas.

The Atlas needs to be bought from a Cartographer. And to find a Cartographer… well, you need to do a few things first:

1. [Explore] different Islands and help their Settlers, until you manage to help all the Settlers on a same Island.

2. Once you do that, you’ll be told that the Chief Settler wants to talk to you!

3. When talking to the Chief Settler, they’ll ask some materials to build a Village.

4. Once you bring these materials, a Village will be built on the Island by the Settlers.

5. Thanking you for having helped the Settlers and for having contributed with the materials, you’ll be allowed to build a building on the Village.

6. You can do this on as many Islands as you want, so you can build different buildings on different islands. But I recommend, at least on your first play-through, you start building a Cartographer as soon as you manage to build your first Village.

7. Enter the Cartographer building and buy the Atlas item from there.

8. Find the Atlas item on your Inventory and [Use] it to unlock the Atlas Screen!

9. Sail back to the Island where the Explorer’s Guild Mentor is and [Talk] to them to complete the quest!

At this point, the Explorer’s Guild Mentor will have a final request: Build an Explorer's Outpost!
